The aviation industry expected that the House of Representatives would release their version of FAA Reauthorization legislation last week, but that has been postponed “indefinitely”. Since the House legislative calendar appears full for July and Congress will be in recess during August, the current expectation is that legislation will be introduced in September, after the summer recess.  The following link contains a summary of the recent actions (and inactions) on this legislation which you and your companies may find of interest:  Many in the business aviation industry have used NBAA’s Contact Congress tool to make their voice heard in opposition of user fees and a privatized air traffic control system in the past two weeks.
